Visions of Evergreen A Showcase of Work by Daniel Jay Lewis
self-sustenance evolutionary design
Very simply, my writing (like my art) explores ways we fundamentally connect within a wider scope of the world and universe. I believe at our cores we are part of a larger, evolutionary event, succeeding more by recognizing and harnessing that natural drive. Things are not mystical, nor are they cold, dead matter. We, as all things, are both essence and reality. We must pull from what is basic, both inside and out, in order to move forward, to accept who we are and become more than what we are.
“The more general a fact, the more precious it is.
Those which serve many times are
better than those which have little chance of coming up again.”

The Laws of Free Bodies:
Independence Age
BOOK ONE
Fossilmucked by climate change and increasingly limited natural resources, mid-22nd century America is seeded with Draconian laws and off-grid threats, all amidst an EMF epidemic and unfriendly, decades-long Lunar occupation.
In this age, two kids, Iye and Ousa, cross paths as they try to break free from their lives, faced with the wonders and angers of disparate cultures and environments as they're forced to face their own roles in the striving for human 'progress.'
A raw tale, this first of four books, explores the wealth of technological, cultural and ideological choices both enhancing and plaguing this
not so improbable future.
A 'bright-green' cli-fi adventure, each story is separated by 'Essential Market' illustrations and related historic photos.

Evolition: A Theory of Everything
Based on the idea that everything, acts, to create something else,
that then reacts back upon the whole,
I created a four-part, universal system to organize information.
Grounded in the fundamental, 'axiomatic' concepts of
existence, knowledge, self and identity,
the book explores how these can be used
to form foundational concepts in fields like:
physics (elements): space, time, matter and energy,
ethics (values): being, meaning, fulfillment, tribute
and aesthietics (elements): object, action, attribute, and relationship
Left :Axiomatic structure for the evolution of motion
Right Brainstorms of the structure for physical elements
Illustrations and original artwork are abundant throughout the book.
The first edition of Evolition is currently out of print/ unpublished.
A shorter, more succinct second edition is currently being created
and should be available on Amazon by 2024.
